About this artwork
The canvas opens in deep shades of blue, divided by a fading yellow line that cuts softly through the atmosphere — like light struggling to remain seen. In the upper left, the Sun–Moon circle glows quietly with five flames, resting in the balance between motion and stillness, order and chaos.
Below, grass and a lone log stretch across the landscape. Upon the log stands a bird with piercing yellow and green eyes, still and unmoved, watching as the… world trembles around it. From above, three black bolts of lightning tear through the sky while black and white snow drifts down, carried by the wind in a dance of contradictions — warm and cold, violent and soft.
Yet the grass does not bend. The bird does not flinch.
Even as the storm moves, they remain untouched.
