About this artwork
I created this piece, A Look over this Chaotic World, using a cotton thread and acrylic colors on the canvas. The morning I made the decision to start this large creation, I had no preexisting thought about the final outcome. I simply let my emotion takes over in splashing the acrylic colors on the unstreched canvas while thinking about the ongoing chaos on this world of the 21st Century. As I was engaged in this artistic journey, I was also talking…
loudly to myself without talking. During a short pause to look at what I was creating, I realized that I brought an abstract landscape to life with a man standing up in the middle of the scene with a strange look of solitude mixed with a sense of wonder and curiosity. This piece evoques a sublime moment of introspection and reflection on the daily challenges and mysteries that lie beyond.
