About this artwork
Without a doubt, this painting is the perfect reflection of who I am as an artist, there is an uncontrollable need for motion within the static composition, a very vivid motion within the subtle colors, and a limitless canvas where the motion cannot be contained. I've always thought that the painting is alive and it starts creating by itself, It is always hard to determine when I'm finished with it. Natura Morte is a being that was never able to… get out of the canvas, delicate and intricate, dynamic and static, a dichotomy in the purest sense of the composition.
« Giving way to a moment of respite from the quotidian: an instance to acknowledge unrestrained abstraction seeking the sublime. »
