Castle Forbes Bay is a picturesque wetland area with lovely trees along the water’s edge. It is on a bend
on the Southern Edge drive between Franklin and Port Huon and tends to be shaded most of the day.
It is about an hour's drive south of Hobart. This Tasmanian highway going south is picturesque but this bend on the drive captures my attention more than all the other scenic landscapes. When driving past this location on a misty wintry day, the… air seems to fill with a kind of mystery and a voice keeps saying "paint me! paint me”.
My abstract soft impressionistic hues draws you into a serene, almost meditative space. It breathes calm and renewal, inviting your home to be filled with reflective energy and the gentle whisper of a misty forest.
