About this artwork
As living organisms, plants are able to transmit "emotions" to each other, they alert each other when danger looms, they interact through volatile chemical substances or with variations in brightness, they transmit sound waves and tiny vibrations. We are totally dependent on them and without them we would become extinct, while they would live well even without our presence.
Like every artist, I have always cared about the Earth and its protection… and through my work I give voice to this social problem, seeking a way to express the inexpressible.
