About this artwork
I created this painting using a mixed technique of acrylic paints and ink on canvas. The vibrant, sometimes high-contrast acrylic colors create an intense effect. These colors meet the fine, precise lines of the ink, resulting in a dynamic interplay between surface and line, spontaneity and control. At the center of the painting is a face, or rather, several suggested character traits, which are not rendered with complete realism but hover between…
abstraction and figuration. The facial features appear deliberately fragmented or superimposed, creating the impression that different personalities or emotional states are visible simultaneously. This openness invites the viewer to develop their own interpretations.
