About this artwork
The artwork "Matrix" is the first work of the abstract portrait that speaks of an alter ego of mine, which comes from a parallel realm to our reality, not defined by time. This work contains in it the mystery of human‘s soul, revealed in the visible eye, while the left part, which is uncovered still waits to be discovered. The golden details tell the story of a game of light and shadow, purity and cruelty, but the lights prevails over darkness. "Mtarix"… is an echo of me in time and over times and is my mask in front of the world.
Morăruș Elena-Liana is a self-taught painter and visual artist with a background in cinematic and theatrical arts, as well as astrology and fashion. She employs mainly acrylics, blending surrealism, expressionism, and abstract techniques to paint not landscapes, but celestial emotions, mystic messages, and portraits of light. Her artworks invite viewers into hidden realms, radiating a sense of spiritual awakening and the transformative power of light to overcome obscurity.
