About this artwork
This piece was inspired by the way memory erodes and reshapes itself over time — how what we remember becomes layered, partial, and textured like the surface of old walls. I was drawn to the idea of fragments: pieces of experience that remain connected, but never whole.
I hope viewers sense the quiet complexity of what lies beneath — the feeling that something has been uncovered, not built. The painting invites reflection rather than interpretation;… it’s meant to evoke the slow rhythm of time, loss, and continuity.
