About this artwork
In this work, I captured the energy and movement of ducks as they navigated the vibrant waves. Using oils, I sought to evoke the freshness of the water and the freedom of the ducks moving in a spirit of community. Each brushstroke and color choice conveys a celebration of nature and an invitation to immerse oneself in the present moment, adding a touch of serenity and harmony to any living space.
« To paint is to breathe, to breathe is to live. All art is an evolution, each work is a new stage, nothing is ever acquired. »
Moyo is a nationally renowned Belgian painter whose work is the result of more than three decades of experience. A superb colorist, he brings movement to colors. His paintings are exclusively devoted to nature, often leaving room to illustrate space, silences, and voids in his landscapes. Through his expression, he manages to combine softness and energy in the same paintings. Using oil paint applied to canvas with a palette knife, he gives movement to his works by emphasizing contrasts, colors, and materials.
