This work presents a dense, swirling constellation of calligraphic ribbons that coalesce into a horizontal diamond-shaped mass at the center of the canvas. The composition breathes in monochrome — deep dark dissolving into luminous whites — where the painted strokes possess both the weight of sculpture and the fluidity of ink in motion.
The title Convergence is felt before it is understood. Every stroke appears to be pulled inward by an invisible… gravitational force, meeting at a dark nucleus before radiating outward and dissolving into the pale edges of the canvas. There is tension here — the energy of chaos held in perfect structural balance.
Within The Gravity of Line series, this piece speaks to the philosophy that a single line, repeated and layered, carries mass. The strokes are not merely marks — they are forces.
