About this artwork
City Lights Reflections is my homage to the bold energy of the modern metropolis. The idea came to me during a late walk along the harbor — where water mirrors steel, and the city pulses with life even at dusk.
I worked with a palette knife and impasto technique to create rich textures and saturated color layers. The towering skyline, bursting with electric hues, stands in vivid contrast to the soft reflections rippling on the water below. The sailboat… in the foreground serves as a moment of stillness — a reminder to pause and observe amidst the rush.
This piece is for those who love expressive cityscape paintings, vibrant modern wall art, and abstract impressionism that tells a story.
