About this artwork
From a physical point of view, most of the matter in the universe is dead.
From this perspective, dividing the world into living and non-living things seems meaningless. This is because both living and non-living things are made of atoms. As far as we know, apart from the surface of the Earth, we have not discovered any place in this universe where life exists.
I accept that we humans are a species that has developed and differentiated through biological… evolution on Earth. Nevertheless, I do not believe that we are the only living beings in this vast universe.
I also cannot imagine that if there were an absolute God, He would have created this special atomic structure only on Earth.
Therefore, it is clear that there is a world beyond what humans can see, hear, touch, and think logically.
Even today, I still imagine becoming a plant, a stone, water, wind, color, a particle, a wave, and a sound.
And then I work on translating them into images.
