About this artwork
There are ancient ruins in the form of arches in the Agora (Izmir, Turkey), and a spring has been flowing under them since the time of Homer. In these ruins I see an ancient amulet - eye, meaning “Look inside”, around which there are many legends about love and fidelity. Every turn is a ring of time, for centuries a woman has been giving life, keeping a hearth, sacrificing herself for love, and this is an inexhaustible source.
