The creative use of oil and ochre pigments have been layered to create texture and intense natural colour. The image is inspired by an enigmatic scene of a group of people walking along a beach. The dark figures walk away into the sunset. The intense light captures the atmosphere. The figures symbolise life and death. They may be friends or strangers, here now or passed.
