About this artwork

This original abstract acrylic painting is highly textured and built with many layers of paint. No need to frame. The gallery-wrapped canvas depth is 1.5" and painted black on the sides for a finished look. It's wired and ready to hang. The surface is protected with a layer of UV varnish.

Nancy Eckels is an experienced American painter with national exposure. With artistic parents who met in an oil painting class, she considers herself to have learnt through osmosis, though has also worked with several experimental abstract artists. Inspired by natural wonders, she composes abstract paintings full of movement and balance.
