About this artwork
This is number 12 (?) of the series 'variations on a theme'...This might be the last one. Completed in early June of 2023, this piece was somewhat the most time consuming, as it has more layers than any of the previous 9. I wanted it to have this ancient look.

At the age 16 Nartana enrolled in the 'Fachoberschule fuer Gestaltung', followed by Fachhochschule fuer visuelle Kommunikation. in Aachen, his hometown. Nartana left Germany and traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas, eventually establishing himself as an artist and member of the Counsel or the Arts and the Society of Artists in Santa Fe, New Mexico and for the last 18 years living in Thailand.
