About this artwork
The driving force behind the “Traces” series is the need to work with a “neutral” work surface and reduced materials and to consciously lay the traces. This is with the intention of giving the individual tracks more meaning or using existing tracks to create new tracks.

Natacha Di Nucci is an experienced Swiss artist whose work has been exhibited nationally as well as in France and Italy. As a contemporary artist, she is always in search of the essential, with nature as her driving force. In her minimalist works, she explores the central theme of the visible and invisible traces that we humans leave on our environment, on other living beings and on nature. Di Nucci's distinctive works are usually created with pigments, ink, gouache and collages on canvas. Her works are characterized by their pure and minimalist character.
