About this artwork
In this artwork, I've blended vibrant circles and textured collages to create a dynamic tapestry that celebrates the past and present. Through the fusion of expressionism and impressionism with a futuristic touch, I've aimed to stir a sense of nostalgia intertwined with hope. It's an ode to the enduring spirit of Athens, the cradle of civilization, and an invitation for the viewer to embark on a journey through time. The energy it brings is both… a contemplation and a celebration, perfect for enriching any space with depth and conversation.
« Images covered by the flow of time reveal to me the hidden history and the wisdom of experience. »
Natalia Kazirelova is an artist based in Greece whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Austria and Russia. Through her art, she seeks to portray beyond what is visible, with the help of other tactile sensations. Kazirelova's favorite topic is ancient Greek mythology through the lens of a modern philosophical interpretation. Her figurative compositions, abstractions, and landscapes are created using acrylics and collage on canvas.
