About this artwork
In the twilight of the analog world, where fragments of human existence scatter like brittle leaves, the canvas becomes a garden of forgotten whispers. Torn edges of newspapers, remnants of receipts, clippings from glossy magazines—these are the fossils of a fading civilization, scattered against a green background as vibrant as new growth in a synthetic Eden.
Arranged across the canvas with deliberate precision, the figures evoke a collector’s… case, where each is a specimen pinned to the fabric of time. Yet there are no pins here, no violence of capture—only a quiet symphony of life and decay, art and detritus. The green void cradles them, a silent reminder that even in a world of excess and abandonment, beauty emerges, fragile and ephemeral, like the wings of a butterfly in a storm.
« Images covered by the flow of time reveal to me the hidden history and the wisdom of experience. »
Natalia Kazirelova is an artist based in Greece whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Austria and Russia. Through her art, she seeks to portray beyond what is visible, with the help of other tactile sensations. Kazirelova's favorite topic is ancient Greek mythology through the lens of a modern philosophical interpretation. Her figurative compositions, abstractions, and landscapes are created using acrylics and collage on canvas.
