About this artwork
In this painterly collage, music emerges not from smoothness, but from fracture. Cubist forms fragment reality—face, instrument, space—turning them into resonant shards of an inner melody.
The violin is like a heart, broken into parts, yet still singing. The lines are sharp, but warm; the paper fragments are bits of memory, notes, cities, feelings. This is a tribute to Marc Chagall—not through imitation, but dialogue: about how love and art reassemble… us from the chaos of form, how music can echo even through the cracks.
Technique: handmade paper collage on canvas with acrylic overpainting.

Natalia Kazirelova is an artist based in Greece whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Austria and Russia. Through her art, she seeks to portray beyond what is visible, with the help of other tactile sensations. Kazirelova's favorite topic is ancient Greek mythology through the lens of a modern philosophical interpretation. Her figurative compositions, abstractions, and landscapes are created using acrylics and collage on canvas.
