Sunset Companions“ ist ein fesselndes Ölgemälde, das eine Frau und ihren Hund zeigt, wie sie gemeinsam am Meeresufer stehen. Vor ihnen öffnet sich ein dramatischer Himmel, in dessen Zentrum eine intensiv rot glühende Sonnenscheibe steht. Die wirbelnden, fast spiralförmigen Pinselstriche in Blau-, Grau- und Rottönen verleihen dem Himmel eine dynamische, beinahe mystische Stimmung.
