Natalie Cappello Wild is an Italian-South African artist, daughter of a painter mother and an internationally renowned classical musician father. Trained at the Fine Arts in Rome, she has won painting competitions, received awards and publications. She exhibits in Italy, Europe and the United States. Her style is abstract figurative, mainly aimed at female subjects or dreamlike and metaphysical scenarios. She works freehand in mixed technique and prefers the use of oil colors. She uses top quality materials. The colors in her works are full-bodied and vibrant, yet finely shaded. She dedicates care and attention to detail, with light but incisive brushstrokes. Since 2020 her studio has been in Rome; she collaborates as a teacher in art workshops in schools and privately in her atelier. She recently ranked third out of 15,000 artists in the national Dantebus competition. She was published in the newspaper “Il Giorno” (August 2024).
