Rising Hope is a work intended to radiate peace and relaxation. However, it is not a 'simple' image. Through the many layers and processes this painting has undergone, the viewer's struggles and challenges are also metaphorically illuminated. From various perspectives, these struggles still seem to seep through. The end result of this difficult time, however, is a soul at peace, one that knows to whom it owes its victories. One whose spirit feels…

Here, a life story is drawn, which, upon revisiting, serves as a reminder of where the anchor was cast and who holds the reins. Even if it doesn't seem so at times, all is well, and faith in a higher power, a God, allows one to feel safe in the hustle and bustle and secure in the midst of uncertainty.

Natalie Schwarz is a German painter who has exhibited on a national level as well as in France, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands. Both her abstract and realistic pieces speak of acceptance, hope, joy and beauty. Inspired by her religious beliefs, Schwarz also incorporates visions, dreams and poetic verses into her compositions. She creates using acrylics, mixed media, alcohol inks and resin.
