About this artwork
This painting is built around a phrase whose meaning changes depending on where we place the comma. It speaks about choice — whether something is so painful that we decide to forget it in order to keep living, or whether it is impossible to forget and must be fully felt and lived through.
The work reflects the emotional tension between avoidance and acceptance, suppression and healing. Through expressive gestures, layered movement, and shifting… balance within the composition, the painting captures the inner process of carrying memory while searching for freedom.
There is no single answer within the piece. Instead, it invites the viewer to recognize their own experience: what must be released, what must be faced, and how meaning can change through perspective.
"To forget Impossible to Live" is a meditation on resilience, memory, and the power of choice in moments of emotional complexity.

Nata Chebarkova (b. 1991) is a Cyprus-based abstract artist exploring inner freedom, spirituality, and emotional transformation. Born in Russia, she studied industrial design and academic art at Ulyanovsk State University before turning to intuitive, body-driven expression.
For Chebarkova, abstraction is a way to transcend inner and outer boundaries. Her paintings, performances, and installations investigate identity, presence, and the divine, combining physical gesture with contemplative depth. She views the creative process as a bridge between the human and the spiritual.
She is a member of the Association of Mediterranean Artists (AMA Cyprus) and founder of ARRT, a creative community. Her work has been exhibited in Cyprus and Russia, and in 2023 she received the Talent Prize in the Abstraction category from Art Show International Gallery (Los Angeles).
“My art,” Chebarkova writes, “invites viewers to pause, feel, and reconnect with the divine light within.”
