About this artwork
When I painted this piece, I wanted to capture that quiet, sunlit calm you feel by the river on a warm summer day. I remember watching the cows move slowly through the meadow and step into the cool water, each one adding to the peaceful rhythm of the landscape.
I focused on the gentle light, the reflections on the river, and the rich textures of tall grass and trees. Using layered oil techniques, I tried to preserve the stillness of the moment —… the kind of moment where time seems to slow and nature feels close and comforting.
This painting is my way of sharing that simple, relaxing beauty of a summer day in the countryside.
