About this artwork
Following a significant exhibit in Chicago celebrating three decades of my artistry, I crafted this piece that holds personal significance. The symbol of a rollerblade is recurrent in my artwork, reminiscent of my past when rollerblading was a frequent pursuit. A green dog is intricately woven into this design, almost playing hide and seek with the viewer. Including the green dog poses a question and invites introspection: perhaps it embodies a cherished…
memory, an enigmatic dream, or simply the notion of the artist's imagination. The "why" is left for the observer to interpret, adding layers of depth and personal connection to the artwork.
