About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the very essence of the connection between humankind and nature, expressed by this female-tree figure. Acrylic paint allowed me to play with shades of blue, creating an atmosphere that is both cold and vibrant, charged with profound emotions. In winter, everything doesn't stop; nature rests and recharges, ready to be reborn. Each of us must also take this time to reconnect and regenerate.

Nathalie Jarsaillon, known as Kali, is a self-taught artist who primarily uses acrylics, drawing inspiration from a life rich in emotions and her Burgundian surroundings. Her works blend abstraction and expressionism, combining vibrant colors with an omnipresent blue, imbued with light, shadow, and her Impressionist influences.
