About this artwork
Morigane
Morigane, goddess of the heavens, danced between heaven and earth, surrounded by her faithful winged companions. Her small birds—delicate wrens, keen-eyed robins, and graceful titmice—gathered the world's beauty with their beaks, serving as guardians of the arts. Perched on her shoulders, they whispered ancient secrets, becoming the first muses of creation. Even today, they continue their divine mission, transforming their melodious songs… into inspiration, their flight paths weaving stories that touch the hearts of artists throughout the ages.
Nathalie Perler is a Swiss artist who works primarily in oil and mixed media in an abstract realist style. Her work explores the intersection of natural forms and symbolic imagery, often incorporating botanical elements, human figures, and animals into richly layered compositions. Based in Montreux, she also teaches painting, sharing her knowledge while developing her own visual language. Combining classical techniques with contemporary materials—such as ink, gold leaf, and raised textures—her paintings exude a sense of timelessness and mystery. Inspired by mythology, nature, and inner transformation, her work invites contemplation while being rooted in exacting craftsmanship. Each piece is both a visual journey and a reflection of a constantly evolving practice.
