About this artwork
In this work, a person filled with anger begins a personal journey. She is in a state of deep introspection to explore the duality of her two lives: the one that had started out very down to earth and connected to herself and the very dark one that she created by moving away from herself a little more each day until she completely denies herself. This led her to a succession of bad choices, bad encounters and contradictory decisions. The introspection… that allows the meeting between these two lives creates a completely blank page that only asks to be rewritten.
The elegance of purple creates a calming space for contemplation conducive to introspection.
Nathalie Pradel, influenced by Claude Monnet and Sonia Delaunay, shapes her works by mixing recycled plastic, century-old glass and earth. With a predilection for imperfect geometric figures and thicknesses, she sows scattered letters forming messages. Through a vibrant art of colorful blooms and series such as "Introspection" and "Arborescent Thinking", Pradel invites us to reflect - on our personal development and our connection to ourselves, dynamically questioning imperfect human nature.
