BOLD STATEMENT WORK!
This abstract painting was inspired by a silent time seating and contemplating the ocean. I was filled with so many ideas while the waves came crashing exploding on the shores while along the way exposing rocks and coral. I wanted to capture motion energy as well as lots of light and fast changes in color contrast. Active and contemplative feel with intricate details that will make you get lost in it!!! Iridescent mediums used...… triple primed canvas and heavy layered with high quality Golden and Sennelier acrylics, gold ink and Liquitex spray paint, UV gloss protective spray. Contemplative statement piece.
This work was created on a high quality (hand cut canvas cut by the artist himself) and is shipped rolled in a tube. Simply take it to your local framer to have it stretched/mounted. This is very standard. Since it is loose canvas there are an infinite variety of framing methods. Simply pick the one that is best suited from the intended installation area.
