Deep and rich background full of texture with many shades of green, blue and red. This piece was completed using small… brushes and foam cutout. Very gestural painting with high quality Golden acrylics and UV gloss finish. Very bold piece.

Nestor Toro is a dedicated American artist whose works have been exhibited throughout Los Angeles. Influenced by his many travels and a consequent appreciation for cultural difference, he infuses each abstract painting with a vibrant and rich colour palette, designed to reflect this energy of difference and discovery. Toro takes additional inspiration from aquariums - their coordinated fluidity and the movement of sea life in confined spaces - and seeks to connect this to the spaces on his canvases.
