About this artwork

Muti-canvas triptych comprised of 3 individual canvases each measuring 8 x 48 inches with a nice 1.5 inch depth. These can be hung together (as they were painted next to each other) or spaced out to fit your intended display area. This makes this piece quite versatile for a number of different wall sizes. The total when hung together is 24 x 48 inches.

The play of light and dark with the golden drizzles and black drizzles intertwine to create a… hypnotic dance captured in time. The work is painted on a iridescent pearl background.

As with all my works, this work are protected with a UV layer for archival color stability which protects from sunlight and also provides a beautiful vibrant glossy finish.

This work uses high quality acrylics and is done on stretched canvas with no need to frame with beautifully painted edges to complement the work. This work arrives to you ready to hang, with a hook on the back. There is NO NEED for framing.

Nestor Toro is a dedicated American artist whose works have been exhibited throughout Los Angeles. Influenced by his many travels and a consequent appreciation for cultural difference, he infuses each abstract painting with a vibrant and rich colour palette, designed to reflect this energy of difference and discovery. Toro takes additional inspiration from aquariums - their coordinated fluidity and the movement of sea life in confined spaces - and seeks to connect this to the spaces on his canvases.
