Dual Frequency explores the inner energy of a single person, confronting the duality between extroversion and introversion, and showing through the link of the two canvases that each of these facets cannot exist without the other within ourselves.
In distinct but interconnected states, each of the figures carries a different emotional temperature. One body opens towards the viewer with gentle stillness, while the other withdraws slightly, enveloped… in its own intimate tension.
Through light, posture and subtle variations of color, the diptych reveals the movement between introspection and expression, vulnerability and presence.
The mirrored composition does not tell two separate stories, but rather two different manifestations of the same inner resonance, variations of a common pulse that echo, respond to and complement each other.

Nezha Banjai-Duchan, a painter born in Rabat, trained herself after a stint in journalism and audiovisual art direction, and mainly explores oil painting.
She combines layering techniques, chromatic variations and textures to oscillate between figuration and abstraction, thus creating sensitive and personal universes.
Through her free visual language, she expresses invisible memory, body and emotions, inviting each viewer to project their own story and feel the inner energy of her works.
