About this artwork
The work depicts a powerful water buffalo, inspired by my artistic water buffalo sculptures. In elegant matte black, the motif appears mysterious yet sublime, while the brushed aluminum Dibond subtly shimmers in selected areas, lending the image an excitingly beautiful, almost lifelike depth.
The high-quality print blends with the cool elegance of the material, creating an exciting balance between nature and modern aesthetics.
On the back there… is a concealed frame that allows for discreet hanging, as well as my personal signature as a sign of authenticity and uniqueness.
Nico Mastroprimiano uses high-quality materials such as liquid metal, patinas, genuine silver nitrate, Swarovski crystals, and gold and platinum alloys. His background is in craftsmanship and he trained as a lacquer artist. His technique combines innovative finishing processes with classic craftsmanship, creating powerful, organic forms and luxurious surfaces that oscillate between sculpture and design object. His works exude extravagance, value, and emotional depth, inviting the viewer to reflect on nature, identity, and aesthetics.
