About this artwork
I painted this sea turtle as a symbol of calm strength and steady progress. There’s something peaceful about the way turtles move: slow, graceful, and unbothered by the rush around them. While working on it, I wanted to capture that gentle flow, almost like time slows down underwater.
The bright, earthy shell against the cool blue water reflects a balance between groundedness and freedom. This piece is my reminder that moving forward doesn’t always… have to be fast; sometimes the most beautiful journeys are the quiet, steady ones.
