About this artwork
In this painting, I wanted to express the continuous flow of thoughts, as if they emerge and vanish on the surface of the mind. The use of gold and silver leaf creates reflections that capture the eye, while the concrete lends a concrete, almost tactile texture. It will bring an intense, fragile, and mysterious energy into your home, inviting reflection and inner discovery.
Nicoletta Bertoncini, artistically educated since she was a child, has shown her works in Italian and foreign galleries. She uses different painting techniques and materials of various kinds, with constants of gold leaf, bronze color and particular affinity for red, blending figurative and contemporary abstract. Her works, which explore the female figure and the abstract, are the manifestations of her emotions, transforming inexpressible feelings into visual art.
