Nikola Alipiev attempts to rethink the contemporary world through the layering and mixing of artistic techniques. The Bulgarian painter fell in love with abstract art because of its unpredictability. When creating he employs the ‘wet-wet’ technique with pigments and different oils on canvas. He enjoys working with light and shadow, as well as warm and cold shades to create an abstract world.
