their character at any moment. I am avoiding calling it a sculptural painting on purpose. The volume of the third dimension is not bigger than a relief. Sculptures have a much bigger volume in the third dimension. They are occupying space drastically. I believe my paintings are legitimate; they contain all the characteristics that a painting should have. The third dimension is just a bonus. In a way, i think i have managed to step out of the painting into the space.
