This is the second of three compositions in this series. Abstract sculptures, reliefs made from acrylic paint. They were previously sculpted in clay and later cast in acrylic. These reliefs were conceived as individual elements for composition; they can be recomposed as wished. I can use them in pairs, as presented, for three different compositions, or i could use all of them for one big composition. For a painting, sculpture, relief, or assemblage… kind of work. They link all these categories.
Nikola Nikolić is a painter and sculptor with a background in fine arts, specializing in painting and exploring non-representational, expressionistic abstraction. He employs bold, spontaneous techniques and invents his own dense acrylic paints to create expressive, sculptural assemblages that step beyond the canvas and interact intimately with space. His works use minimal color and tactile forms, often suspending paint itself as the medium, aiming to materialize intense internal moods. Nikola’s art conveys visceral emotion and spiritual energy, inviting viewers into a deeply personal, revitalizing, and open-ended experience.
