About this artwork
In this series of sculptures or reliefs or both, however, they are both things at the same time. I say reliefs because they are sculptures made for the wall, but they can be situated anywhere in the space. I have tried to materialize and visualize the energy flow within the abstract form, since this process is, in itself, abstract to our perception. They are sculpted with old armature wires, which were used as a construction and armature in casting…
plaster of the natural-size human figures, previously sculpted with clay. So you have a little history of that, and a little energy from it as well. All that because i didn't like the new wires, they were so lifeless and boring. All of these sculptures could have a version with the light source applied from beneath. You can do it yourself if you want that kind of effect.
