Here in the mountains you can actually see what creates a stream or river channel. Building a new channel in nature takes years.
Even in our minds there is a difficulty in creating a new pattern in an area that already has "possession" of an existing pattern.
Patterns of thinking and patterns of behavior that we have acquired, they control us and… our actions, the power of habit, the power that preserves things as they are, this is a tremendous power, we have all met this power in our lives at work, at home, in relationships and in raising children, when we tried to quit smoking, change eating habits, work habits, Habits of behavior, and habits of thinking.

Nima Novik is an award-winning artist based in Israel whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Describing herself as an artist who is deeply connected with nature, she translates her artistic expression through landscapes. Throughout her career, Novik has experimented with a variety of materials and techniques with include charcoal drawings, abstract works, clay sculpture, and oil paintings. Her current compositions are created with oils on canvas.
