A Canadian study also found advantages to living in rural areas. According to this study, living in the city makes it difficult for the human soul and significantly increases the risk of suffering from anxiety disorders or developing depression.
In general, life in the village, and especially for children, provides… a peaceful environment and a real connection to nature with all the benefits that come with it. Community life, in most cases, is more significant and social cohesion is better.
Another advantage of living in the village for those raising children is the more modest presence of the culture of abundance and overconsumption.
