About this artwork
In this work, Attraction, I explore the timeless magnetism between man and woman — a force as ancient as desire itself.
The large, intelligent head of the man is caught in contemplative stillness, drawn to the tender, yielding body of the woman. Between them flows a silent dialogue — a watercolor current of glances and emotions, fluid and unresolved.
This visual tension is a dance suspended in time, where what is left unfinished becomes the most… evocative. I, as the artist, deliberately leave space for the viewer’s imagination — to step into the gap between forms, to complete the story with their own longing, memory, or dream.

« If you want to tell the truth in art, tell your personal story honestly. »
Nina Murashkina is an artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Montenegro and Germany. In addition, her art is featured in the permanent collection of the Odesa Fine Art Museum (Ukraine). Although her works are often autobiographical, she garners inspiration from archaic matriarchy, femininity, and magical feminism. Murashkina's vibrant figurative compositions are most often created with acrylics on canvas.
