About this artwork
“Earthly Resonance” marks a more vibrant stage in my research on the balance of the elements.
While my previous works invited absolute silence, this one captures the earth's stirring. I wanted to translate this muted energy emanating from the soil, represented by touches of deep red and ochre, disrupting the softness of my usual beiges.
At the center, a focus of yellow-orange light acts like a beating heart, a solar breakthrough that radiates… through glazes of gray and ethereal blues. The knife work here is more instinctive, creating reliefs that catch the light and give the canvas an organic, almost living presence.
It is a dialogue between the strength of the anchor and the lightness of the air, a resonance between raw matter and the poetry of the moment.
