About this artwork
"Nympha rosa" combines collage, painting, and drawing into a poetic, multi-layered composition. Fragments of a book page form the starting point of a visual narrative, surrounded by delicate pastel shades of pink and blue reminiscent of water, skin, and floral textures. Dynamic brushstrokes and speckled dots of color add vibrant accents and lend the work an organic lightness.
Delicate, sketchy lines suggest a nymph moving between word and color,… past and present. The transparent layering of materials creates depth and invites the viewer to lose themselves between the different levels. "Nympha rosa" represents transformation and feminine energy, intuitive movement and subtle strength.
