About this artwork
This table was produced the day after the first confinement. During this particular period, I worked a lot in my garden, since we couldn't go out. My garden has become the place of waiting and suspended time. Little by little the blue invaded the background of the painting, a bit like the night covers everything. This painting therefore describes the night, waiting, suspended time and a garden as frozen. The title is also a nod to Marcel Proust and…
to the "Recherche du temps loss".
