About this artwork
This captivating abstract painting is inspired by the Triangle, a shape with rich philosophical and symbolic significance in various religions, including the Trinity in Christianity and the harmony of spirit, body, and mind in esotericism. The color blue, associated with higher spiritual states and the quest for meaning, signifies the link between earthly and heavenly realms. This painting vibrantly celebrates deep spiritual connections and the interplay… of body with soul.
My first career as a physicist profoundly shaped my artistic journey. It sparked a deep fascination with color and its transformations under varying light conditions—an aspect I found both intriguing and inspiring. This curiosity ultimately led me to the world of painting.
Living and working in culturally and visually rich countries such as Russia, Spain, and the UK further fueled my creative development. After graduating from the Academy of the Old Masters in St. Petersburg, I transitioned into a professional artist. By exploring a wide range of styles—from impressionist landscapes to reproductions of Renaissance masterpieces—I continually broadened my creative scope.
For me, painting is a science in its own right: a discipline that reveals beauty through artistic expression.
