About this artwork
This work 'Sail away' belongs to the series: 'Seascape'
The leitmotif of the series is the symbolism of boats. Sails bring changes for luck and movement for the better. Their color, movement, interaction with the colors, and shape of the sea and the shore heighten dynamic, powerful sensations in the viewer.
The sea is an enigma, raging one minute and calm the next, so I focused my attention on capturing the uniqueness of the moments that I have experienced,… complete in essence and beauty. I attempt to capture the soul of the sea and spirit of the boats on canvas, as dynamically and powerfully as possible in some works, and sensitively and calmly in others.
It is signed in front and back and is delivered with a certificate of authenticity. The edges of the painting are painted so no frame is needed.
