Inspired by the story of the legendary Carmen and the ballet of the same name, this passionate pastel painting was created. Carmen embodies fire, freedom, beauty, and inner strength – qualities reflected in the sweeping folds of her dress, her confident gaze, and the dynamism of her pose.
The vibrant colors – red, orange, and violet – represent emotions such as love, pride, and rebellion. The dancer seems to step directly from the curtain onto the… stage of life – sensual, proud, and full of energy. The soft yet dramatic color gradient in the background enhances the depth and movement of the moment.
