Born on March 26, 1947 in Chomutov (Western Bohemia in Czechoslovakia), she spent her childhood and youth in Karlovy Vary, where she obtained her baccalaureate and pursued higher education in languages and tourism economics.

At the same time, she also took Fine Arts classes with Professor Ludva.

In 1968, she left Czechoslovakia during the Prague Spring and settled in Munich, Germany.
She then continued her painting studies with Professor Hinsch in Göttingen, Germany.

From 1979 onwards, Olga Schrufer Kozlova exhibited her works in many countries, including Germany, France, Monaco, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the United States, and Canada.
Her paintings are now part of private and public collections in those same countries, as well as in Austria and the Netherlands.

She subsequently lived for several years on the French Riviera and in Florida.
Today, she lives and paints near Étretat.

In November 2025, at an auction in Prague, CZ, the painting
“Dans les collines”, 40 x 40 cm, was sold at a record price — more than one and a half times its starting bid: €5,000 compared to €3,000.
